The Legion of Honor is accessible via bus lines #18, #38, #1, and #2.

The #18 stops directly in front of the museum.

The #1 and #2 stop at 33rd Ave. and Clement. From there, you can transfer to the #18 or you can walk one block west to 34th Ave. and up Legion of Honor Drive.

The #38 stops at 33rd Ave. and Geary. From there, you can transfer to the #18 or you can walk two blocks north and one block west to 34th and Clement and up Legion of Honor Drive.

The walk from 33rd Ave. and Clement St. to the Legion of Honor entrance is about half a mile.

From Market Street
Catch the #2 Clement anywhere on Market St. between Embarcadero Center and Sutter St. or the #38 Geary anywhere on Market St. between Embarcadero Center and Geary St.

From Fisherman's Wharf/Aquatic Park
Take the southbound #47 down Van Ness. (From Aquatic Park, you can take the #47 or the #49.) Transfer to the #1 California (at Sacramento and Van Ness), the #2 Clement (at Sutter and Van Ness), or the #38 Geary (at Geary and Van Ness).

From Union Square
Catch the #38 Geary on Geary St. or the #2 Clement on Sutter St.

From Embarcadero
Take the #1 California (Sacramento and Davis Sts.) or #2 Clement (Market St. near Hyatt Regency).
