Audio Tours

Audio tours by Antenna Audio are available for the permanent collection of the Legion of Honor. The audio tour is designed in collaboration with the museum curators and includes information about the Antiquities, Decorative Arts, and European Paintings collections. Prices are $6.00 ($5.00 for members). The tour is free to visually impaired visitors, and a large-print script of the tour is available free of charge to hearing-impaired visitors. Visitors may purchase tours at the admissions desk located in the main lobby. A photo ID or Membership card will be held while audio tour equipment is being rented.

School Groups
Introduce children in grades K–12 to the permanent collections and special exhibitions. Docent-led tours and self-guided tours are available Tuesday through Friday. Schedule 8 weeks in advance.

Museum Ambassador Outreach
Visits and tours are offered to classes and groups throughout the year. Museum Ambassadors are high school students who are trained to introduce the art collections of the Legion of Honor to younger students and older adults. Schedule in advance.

Adult Tours
Regularly scheduled tours are available Tuesdays through Sundays. Drop in.

Group Tours
Group tours for adults must be scheduled at least 3 weeks in advance; fee includes museum admission. College groups receive special rates. Group tours are also available in Spanish, French, Italian, and German.

Access Tours and Programs
Tours are available for people and groups with disabilities and special needs. Schedule in advance.
