On Friday nights the entire museum is open until 8:45 p.m. Friday Nights at the de Young offers a variety of interdisciplinary arts programs, including live music, poetry, films, dance, tours, and lectures. The cafe is open with a special Friday Nights dinner menu, and a no-host cocktail bar is serving drinks. There are art-making activities for everyone.
Unbridled Mosaic: A Celebration of Chihuly at the de Young
An eclectic lineup of artists, musicians, and performers come together on one special evening to honor, evoke, and celebrate the truly unique work of famed artist Dale Chihuly!

Live Performances by the Minks, the all-female Kinks cover band, and the Cheese Puffs, the world's first burlesque troupe inspired by Richard Cheese
Costumes by Stormy Leather. The infamous local couturier outfits the Cheese Puffs' performance
Music by DJ Alabaster. Spinning a heady mix of sassy, brassy, funktastic beats
6:00–8:30 p.m.
Art Activity for the Entire Family. Create wearable art inspired by Dale Chihuly

Free Gallery Show featuring local artists Kris D, Keith Gaspari, and Jason Mecier
Fee Information
Programs are free. Admission is always free to members; regular admission fees apply for non-members to visit the galleries. A $5 surcharge for non-members applies to the special exhibition Chihuly at the de Young.
